In Brazil, CPFLimproved itsperformance and earned 15 awards includingthe best power distribution company of Brazil, the best company for customer service, and the gold award for safety production.The TelesPires power transmission project phase II was completed and put into operation two and a half years in advance, receiving considerably higherreturns and the official letter of appreciation from ONS. In Australia, the government of the Northern Territory awarded SGSPAAthe Chamber NT Local Content Award, recognizing the company¡¯s efforts in completingphase I of theNorthern Gas Pipelineproject.
